About the Item
The ecru beige field of this tapestry woven pileless runner shows a pattern akin to that of Turkmen tent bands, also on light grounds. There is a tripartite layout with central poles bracketed by four straight and end curled shapes. The central motif is more emphatic, with details in red. The flanking ones are more schematic and drawn thinner. Arrowheads along the sides and triangles at the ends constitute the narrow border. Good condition.
