This unique vintage Turkish Oushak gallery runner is enhanced by its use of exquisite design and warm tones. A saw-toothed, diamond-shaped medallion rests at the heart of the carpet and contains abstract flora and tree-of-life motifs. The surrounding field is occupied by a multiplicity of paisleys, lotus, palmettos, various leaves and a variety of flora. Four cornices are characterized by a dominant tree-of-life motif, as well as other vines and flowers, while the two-toned border and inner and outer guards are composed of flowers and perfectly frame the entire body of this softly charming rug.
