About the Item
77115 vintage Turkish Oushak Anatolian rug with Retro Bohemian Mediterranean style. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak Anatolian rug features an all-over geometric pattern composed of a large scale cusped medallion anchored with palmette finials. The central medallion is filled with a rosettes, flowers, and floral sprigs connected by angular vines. The medallion is also outlined with an avocado green border and creamy beige garland wreath. The warm camel colored field is covered in thin rectilinear vines connecting a variety of flowers. Cream colored spandrels are filled with complementary flowers and a large-scale serrated pink boteh motif variation in each corner. It is finished and framed with a palmette Meander Herat border flanked with inner and outer Meander leafy guard bands. Well-suited for a variety of styles: Georgian, Mediterranean, English, Bohemian, Italian, Arts
