About the Item
77284 Vintage Turkish Oushak Hallway runner with Modern Art Deco Style. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak hallway runner features three cusped coffee-camel colored cusped medallions floating in an abrashed ruby red field dotted with stylized floral motifs. Corner spandrels and stepped ziggurat pyramid mounds filled with lozenges, diamonds, crosses, and cruciform motifs reach towards the center of the composition. It is enclosed with a floral botanical Meander border flanked with inner and outer floral Meander guard bands on a warm chocolate backdrop. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Traditional, Art Deco, Retro, Tribal, Mid-Century Modern, modern, lodge, rustic, country cottage, eclectic, ski lodge, mountain cabin, contemporary spaces or neutral nomadic interiors. Perfect for a hallway, stair landing, open hall or long entry, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, bathroom, grand foyer and designer entryway-- or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or long vestibule. Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, scarlet red, brick red, camel, coffee, brown, sienna, chocolate, tan, ecru, sand, taupe, beige, light gray, gold, goldenrod, rose, light pink, coral, and pinkish-salmon with other accent colors.
