About the Item
The stair-stepped abrashed red corners set off the equally abrashed charcoal field which is centered by a giant, powerful lobed medallion decorated with rosettes. The same rosettes appear in the field, Flowering plants and rosettes also show in the corners. Diagonally colour striped narrow main border. Coarse weave. Good condition. Could be a village carpet rather than a town Oushak carpet, but boldness is unchanged.
