Vintage Turkish Oushak rug with vining florals in light blue, light brown and tan rug tu-mtu-3749, country of origin / type: Turkey / Oushak, circa 1940
This beautiful vintage rug from mid-20th century Turkey features an intricate design, which is enhanced by lustrous wool. The light blue-colored ground is home to the central medallion and it is surrounded by vining floral motifs. A multitude of main and guard borders and the four cornices are extensions of these motifs. This piece is undoubtedly an elegant and unique work of art with blue, cream, tan, and camel-colored hues.
