52388, vintage Turkish Oushak runner, wide hallway runner. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner features five floral lobed diamond-shaped medallions spread across an abrashed red field. The petal-shaped lobes of the medallions contain a circle of carnations and tulips surrounding a large open center blossom. Corresponding half-medallions and matching spandrels reach from the edges towards the center. Simple floral meander guard borders flank a complementary main border that repeats the floral motifs from the field. The sumptuous color palette based around vibrant red, golden honey, and deep cocoa, give this Oushak runner’s traditional design dimension and grace, resulting in a sophisticated piece that would enhance any interior. Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, scarlet red, brick red, onyx, black, coffee, sienna, charcoal, dark gray, gray, stone gray, taupe, brown, camel, beige, ecru, tan and sand. Complementary SW Hues: Rave Red, Crewel Tan, Caviar, Basket Beige, Chinese Red, Weathered Shingle, Black Magic, Otter, Cocoa Berry, Garden Gate, and Natural Tan.
