Romantic Industrial meets French Provincial in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Overdyed rug. The faded floral design and muted earthy colorway in this piece work capture the essence of nostalgic charm and understated elegance inspired by the rustic chateaux and countryside maison in Southern France. Starting from the center is a French-style medallion outlined with opulent frondescence cultivating a sense of feminine energy with romantic connotations. A barely-there allover pattern composed of botanical formations, genteel florals and foliage seem to evanesce before one's eyes into the richly striated field. Equally compelling yet quietly concealed, delicately woven florals and acanthus emanate into the field intrinsically creating a sense of splendor and vitality that cannot be contained. In the same manner an elaborate botanical border adds the perfect accompaniment while seamlessly amalgamating into the field. Reflecting elements of historical richness and rustic elegance, this vintage Turkish rug delivers a warm ambiance rooted in inimitable warmth and relaxed familiarity. Classic iterations of laid-back luxury and a worn finish makes this distressed area rug a beautiful expression of Modern Rustic, Romantic Industrial, Belgian Farmhouse, or even Chic City Loft style.
Rendered in variegated shades of tan, gray, taupe, greige, brown, burgundy, navy blue, mauve, glaucous and sand with other analogous colors.
