Kilim’s curation of rare and collectible mid-century rugs of this provenance.
On the Design:
Admirers of the craft will admire this personal vintage rug meant to catch the eye, yet still so atypical in its color and design choices that are so complementary to each other making it a comfortable, and inviting piece. Each panel in coral-red contains a central floral medallion, surrounded by multiple borders of varying geometric patterns in muted sage and gray tones. The space between the panels is elegantly bridged by a row of stylized floral motifs. The outer border employs a continuous running pattern of abstracted botanical elements, while each panel is framed by its own border of geometric hooks or stylized leaves.
