Hand-knotted in wool, this 7x10 vintage rug originating from Turkey, circa 1960-1970, is a very special piece, featuring a light and refreshing mid-century design we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
On The Design:
Admirers of the craft will admire this personal vintage rug meant to catch the eye, yet still so atypical in its color and design choices that are so complementary to each other making it a comfortable, and inviting piece. This vintage Turkish rug features a black field with blue tones underscore the many architectural and geometric patterns. Such graphic choices are seldom seen in this texture, and exemplify this Zeki Múren’s rare works.
