Hand-knotted in woolcirca 1950-1960, this 3x8 vintage Turkish runner rug draws inspiration from antique Persian rugs—most notably in its reimagination of the traditional Herati floral design (or “fish” pattern).
On the Design:
Light blue tones underscore beige-brown and amber in the repeat of curvaceous florals (or “fish” as they’d be called in the way they appear to ‘swim’ throughout this style).
