77797 vintage Turkish Silk Hereke rug with neoclassical Victorian style 01'04 x 04'01. With ornate details and well-balanced symmetry combined with a regal color palette, this hand-knotted vintage Turkish Silk Hereke rug beautifully embodies Neoclassical Victorian style. The abrashed black field features two elongated botanical medallions decorated with trompe l'oeil filigree. It is enclosed with a meandering floral border flanked with an inner and outer guard band. The embellishments alone are sufficiently captivating, but the use of color is extraordinary. The colors join to create a truly compelling dance, and inaudibly speak with a timeless voice that is characterized by sensual decadence, as well as by stately action. Rendered in variegated shades of black, aqua, beige, pink, light green, light gray, light pink, orange, olive, and brick red with other accent colors.
