The origin of the YAHYALI rugs and carpets lies in the Orient, in the village of Yahyali in central Anatolia. The small town is world-famous for its high-quality carpets. Particularly expressive, high-quality carpets have been produced there for around two centuries. Typical of traditional Yahyali carpets is a graphic pattern, medium-fine weave, excellent wool and beautiful, bright colors. These carpets are knotted by Kurds.
