From R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s latest acquisitions, a distinct vintage runner originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960. On the Design: The symmetric geometric design features traditional motifs encased in diamond patterns continuing from end to end for a gorgeous movement in this scale, in warm tones of red, golden-orange, pale green and blue. Connoisseurs may note fine black and crisp white detailing on the varied borders, subtly exemplifying tonal quality in tribal aesthetics. Especially rare for its great condition construction, a piece in hand-knotted wool—especially well suited for entryways hallways.
