About the Item

Likely Tekke or Yomud tribes in Turkmenistan or northeast Persia, the brown field displays six columns of 13 quartered Tekke-style tribal guls each, with kurbaghe cruciform minor guls in the reserves. Ivory main border with stellate, rayed lozenges enclosing crosses. Narrow end skits (elems) with chains of rayed lozenges. All wool, medium weave. Rug Size 8'9x12'10
