warm tones. One must admire the sheer attention to craft that achieves this sense of movement—a hallmark of Müren’s rare style. With beige-brown, pastel green and blue tones underscore a geometric pattern keeping with Müren’s mid-century modern meets Art Deco sensibility. The playful sense of color in a more simple pattern, both in movement and whimsy alike, lead us to believe this is among the few similar works of this artist seen today.
It’s a light and playful piece with the whimsy of a Müren rug, but also with the comfortable and livable undertone that his works also embody, so thoughtful in their approach to the postmodernist appeal of the time and collectible in his suspected works curated today
