This vintage 6x9 rug is a new addition to Rug
Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Further on the Design:
This design connotes Müren’s mid-century ‘industrial’ take on Art Deco designs, and a play of beige and brown geometric patterns. Keen eyes will admire the almost 3D look, and how rare it is to see this effect in such forgiving, simple hues. The neutrals further play quite naturally with the shabby-chic distressed texture, and achieves a modern look that exemplifies Müren’s deft hand, keen sense of movement, and ultimately unique mid-century modern attitude.
Connoisseurs will also admire this unusual large-size piece among few found in Müren's area rugs. A collectible yet livable piece from his works, with contemporary comfort and smart dimensionality.
