Made with hand-knotted wool circa 1960-1970, this 4x6 vintage rug from Turkey is believed to be the work of mid-century Turkish artist Zeki Müren. It’s a rare and exciting new curation from Rug
Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection—a collection devoted to Müren’s remaining and inspired works in our craft today.
On the Design:
Admirers of the craft will appreciate this vintage rug in beige and brown tones, for its whimsical yet smart sensibilities, in the most exceptional colors and a great size suited to wider spaces—as versatile for interior design as it is collectible for admirers of this provenance. Condition:
This mid-century rug enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its pile height has been lowered to preserve its construction, which lends it the distressed look of wear and boho chic in the nap—a low pile height well-suited to swinging and sliding doors, among many clearance-conscious design applications.
