Handknotted in wool, this 6x10 vintage rug originates from Turkey, circa 1960-1970, and is believed to be among the works of mid-century designer Zeki Múren.
On the Design:
Connoisseurs will note beige, pink and burgundy tones underscore a play of open field and medallion style.
The floral patterns look to be inspired by French sensibilities, European Art Deco attitudes and similarly elegant style - certainly keeping with works believed to hail from this eclectic artist
