This vintage 6x9 rug is a new addition to Rug
Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Further on the Design:
This distressed piece enjoys geometric repetition alternating in polychromatic tones playing naturally with the low pile. Keen eyes will admire a polychromatic approach to this mosaic-like pattern, and appreciate its play of traditional-meets-modern elements that distinguishes Müren’s works. Beige-brown, brick red, green, and black comprise the most present hues, though the sheer movement in the variety is one of this work’s many gorgeous traits.
A smart mid-century rug in otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage, worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics.
