52015 Vintage Turkish Sivas Rug, 06'07 x 10'04.
Abstract Expressionism meets Art Deco style in this Zeki Muren vintage Turkish Sivas rug. The bold geometric design and lively colorway woven into this piece work together creating layers of joy with a curated ambiance. The lovingly time-worn composition features large golden colored reuleaux triangles and red polygon shapes in opposite corners. Meanwhile an animal print leopard pattern creates a partition between the large-scale geometric shapes. The superimposed abstract hash signs and lozenge motifs cultivate an esoteric juxtaposition among the expressionist design. Faded throughout with a shorn pile, this Zeki Muren style rug is packed with visual complexity and yet it is also capable of giving its best performance in the decades to come.
Rendered in variegated shades of red, gold and black with other accent colors.
