About the Item
This hand-knotted rug with dimensions 290 cm. x 200 cm. is made entirely of high-quality wool, which gives a rich and inviting look . It is carefully hand-knotted in India commissioned by the Belgian Lano Carpets company in the 1980s . The particular effect of high wool looks like an expanse of tiny pearls that are soft to the touch, each of a slightly different color. Shades range from light gray to dark gray, brown , beige antique pink, creating an interplay of shades and a vibrant texture reminiscent of a rippled surface, similar to a mosaic of gray stones or beads, emphasizing the three-dimensional workmanship. It is carefully hand-knotted in India. The particular effect of high wool looks like an expanse of tiny pearls that are soft to the touch, each of a slightly different color.
Executed by the LANO CARPETS company located in Belgium formed in 1970 by the merger of three Belgian textile companies with more than 100 years of tradition.
