About the Item
Vintage Rug after Paul Klee, Scandinavian Modern Carpet machine woven by Brink and Campman, Amsterdam.
The painting from which the design of this rug originates was named "Musiker" (translates "Musican") and it was paintedby Paul Klee (1879-1940), in the high time of Art Deco.
This rug was made in Axminster technic in Netherlands.
Influence of North African Art on European Modern Art.
These abstract designs of Moroccan Art had a great influence on European Modern Art. An initial date was a travel to Tunis in the year 1914. Paul Klee, August Macke and Louis Moilliet visited Tunesia and their Artworks after that trip showed many new inspirations in abstract design.
The rug is in very good condition, it has full pile, is fresh washed and clean. It is ready to be used as a rug or as a piece of art wall covering.
