Created circa 1940, this 9x14 hand-knotted wool rug is a definitive piece from the Style Arbus, pioneered by master décorateur André Arbus. The entire field is contained by a triple-banded border system, executed in sharp, creamy ivory lines against a deeper turquoise band.
