About the Item

An antique 10x10 pictorial tapestry from France, handwoven in wool circa 1650-1660. This flat weave is a new addition to the most collectible European curations by Rug Kilim. Further On the Design: This 17-century Aubusson enjoys a bold depiction of Chinoiserie style pictorials in brown, gold beige. Keen eyes will admire birds and trees of magnificent detail and unusual style. Connoisseurs will note the latter as an extremely collectible feature—like few R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal knows of its kind. A masterpiece of culture with the utmost quality of craft and graphic personality like so few in existence. Further On the Condition: This curation is a tapestry, and is suited for wall-hanging projects only. This tapestry may require some restoration, which we're happy to discuss, though we personally love this work in its current state.
