A rare 10x19 antique hand-hooked rug of German provenance, handmade in wool circa 1920-1940.
The piece seems to draw inspiration from Persian masterpieces, recapturing Herati and floral patterns in this seldom-seen palace size. The richest burgundy hosts an equally distinguished play of black, purple, and beige-brown hues of meticulous detail and grandeur.
