Antique Spanish European Carpet with Pineapple Design in Gold, Cream Tangerine. Keivan Woven Arts / rug /D-0506, country of origin / type: Spain / Spanish carpet, circa Early-20th century Measures: 9' x 12' This unique Spanish carpet, with its stunning array of bold organic Pineapple motifs and flowers, features a luscious and lustrous wool pile. A neutral base of ivory composes the main field of the rug. Large pineapple motifs in tangerine lend a striking air of regal elegance. Weaving throughout the field are formal vines, bringing forth lovely flowers and fruit in shades of gold and tangerine. Surrounding the main field is a well-balanced border containing a linear vine with repeating fruit and floral motifs in tones of gold and tangerine.
