A hand-knotted wool rug with a bold abstract design, in mostly primary colors with black accents.
This large contemporary abstract rug features an abstract, multi-colored medallion on a beige field. The “blocks” radiating outward from the eye-shaped dark center have a diverse palette of colors: blue, brown, gold, grey and pink, which alternatingly contrast with and complement the beige background. In addition, these blocks contain subtle stripes of different colors, adding even more diversity to the palette. A closer look will reveal a densely knotted texture that is very pleasing to the touch.
