Woven in the historic Savonnerie tradition—originally established under Louis XIII for royal commissions—this rug showcases the refined artistry and opulence associated with 18th- and 19th-century French decorative arts.
At the heart of the composition lies an elaborate roundel medallion, radiating layers of petal-like motifs in rich shades of lavender, aubergine, blush, and cream.
