Floral Bessarabian Kilim, c. 1919
A fascinating decorative flat-weave Kilim in shades of brown, apricot, ivory, grey and gold. Note the prominent woven in date of 1919 in the upper cartouche of roses. Possibly created to be presented as a wedding gift, as the second wreath of roses contains an apparent monogram.
