Beautiful flat-weave rug (“rölakan”) designed by Ingegerd Silow, Sweden, 1950s.
Titled “Frösön”, signed “IS”, handwoven in warm mid-century tones with geometric pattern typical of Silow’s distinctive Scandinavian style.
Dimensions: approx. 241 × 167 cm
Condition: Minor wear consistent with age and use.
A fine and authentic example of Swedish textile art from the mid-20th century.
