About the Item
This circular vintage carpet in the shape of a flower was loom-woven with pure wool. The beauty of this decorative element lies in the very particular shape and in the different shades of green used in a harmonious way.

With artist signature
It was designed by Wolf Bauer, a German painter born in 1938, he is a post modernist who designed a large number of models, especially for Rosenthal (ceramics). He is also regarded as a key figure in the Knoll Textiles team, which he joined to create the collections. Bauer's pieces have been exhibited frequently and heavily awarded because of the boldness they brought to an often tame industry. His first collection, introduced by Knoll in 1969, was unconventional in many regards.
