In this listing you will find a spectacular XXL Space Age rug in vibrant shades of orange, yellow and ivory wool. This vintage rug is likely a Verner Panton design for the Dutch company Desso, featuring a distinctive Pop Art or Space Age style geometric pattern. It is created in the 1970s, a period known for bold, geometric, and high-pile designs in home decor. The rug is made of 100% wool, using a high-pile shag or Rya-style weaving technique. Made in the Netherlands.
The rug is in very good vintage condition with some signs of time and use. It will be cleaned by a professional service before shipping to its new home.
