Large 'art rug with colorful geometric patterns designed by Sofia Rostad for Louis De Poortere , 1970s.
Composition: 100% polyamide, made in Belgium.
Excellent condition, in shades of white, blue, orange and pink, short hair.
A passionate artist, Zofia Rostad has been designing brightly colored and eccentric home rugs for 30 years. She is now recognized for her works exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Musée du Papier Peint in Rixheim, and the Musée de l'Impression sur Étoffes in Mulhouse.
Featured in major decorative arts museums, a retrospective of his work took place in 2012 in his native Poland.
