This 8 x 10 rug joins the European collection by Rug Kilim—drawing inspiration from a variety of geometric patterns and neoclassical sensibilities affectionately dubbed “Cartegena” among the recent additions to this line. Hand knotted with a blend of quality wool and silk, the natural luster of the latter material brings out both the particularly rich red-brown notes and the prevailing, forgiving beige-brown colorway with the sense of movement. Almost enjoying a marriage of Aubusson-style cartouches highlight the definition and refinement a classic European rug lends a variety of interiors; a cultured look achieved by one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in Nepal. This pattern features additional sizes and colorway variations in stock, with further custom capabilities available upon enquiry.
