Design Title: "Sisters"
The 'Sisters' carpet takes inspiration from all the strong women that make their voices heard during 2018.
The faces are made in strict graphic form, a nose line that continue to an eyebrow. Various eye colors, to symbolize all different women. The design is made with the same form of the lips and the eyes to make a pattern but also to underline equality. The graphic form is the same as we are all equal.
It's a hand knotted carpet in New Zealand wool and all drawings in natural silk.
Carpets CC is the carpet design brand of Cecilia Setterdahl. She uses bold colors and geometrical forms to create bespoke carpets. Cecilia is based in Dubai since 2015.
