About the Item
Beautiful and large wool rug, designed by Marc Petit, one of the most famous painter and cardboard manufacturer of the 20th century.
Named Saturne, it depicts a beautiful sunburst with flowers and planets patterns.
It has been handwoven in the famous Saint-Frères manufacture in Leers city, France, during the 1960s.
Good condition, the rug has been cleaned, but few spots and traces remain.
Signature on rug, label missing.
