Savonnerie Rug 12'0'' x 12'0''. The straw-ecru field and border are tonally integrated, with a herringbone laurel stem separating them. The square sandy central motif is defined by four radiating torches and a square rose garland. Border of rose swags and ribbon bedecked staves. Diagonal corners with long rose bouquets. Sort, but complex palette. Medium weave. Good condition.
