Questo modello iconico a pelo lungo presenta una cucitura a mano che unisce due tappeti “KamaSu” creando una grande e piacevole isola di luce e morbidezza.
‘KamaSu’, è un modello dell'iconica collezione “Kama”, introdotta nel 2001 rivoluzionando l'industria dei tappeti contemporanei ed entrato a far parte della storia del design.
Primo tappeto a utilizzare una fibra di viscosa sontuosa e selvaggia tessuta a mano, “KamaSu” cattura la luce e la lascia fluttuare sulle sue trame. Disegnato da Deanna Comellini, questo tappeto contemporaneo è caratterizzato dalla massima qualità della fibra riflettente per creare un filato spesso con una brillantezza, una morbidezza e una profondità di colore uniche. Il filato, tinto in massa. è tessuto a mano su telai tradizionali e tagliato con una tecnica irregolare, rendendo questo lussuoso tappeto così seducente da prendere il nome dal dio indiano dell'amore "Kama".

Deanna Comellini è artista e designer.
Prima come designer di oggetti poi come textile designer, sperimenta l’incontro tra sapere artigiano e progettazione industriale sviluppando la sua idea di “imperfect design”, che mette in risalto le piccole imperfezioni dei materiali naturali e della lavorazione a mano, rendendo ogni suo pezzo unico e inimitabile. Dal 1977 è direttrice creativa di G.T.DESIGN, azienda da lei fondata. Negli anni 90 si focalizza sul concetto di tappeto contemporaneo e sui materiali naturali innovando il settore con una nuova concezione del tessile per l’interior design. Ha partecipato a prestigiose mostre internazionali ed ha collaborato con importanti figure dell’architettura quali, tra le altre, Toyo Ito e lo studio Zaha Hadid Architects. Deanna Comellini è stata selezionata da Forbes Italia come una delle 100 donne più influenti del paese ed è apparsa su importanti riviste quali Domus, Elle Decor, New York Times e Forbes tra le altre.
