Vintage Spanish Rug 6'9'' x 12'8''. The plain red outermost border provides the only saturated colour in this lightly toned medium weave long carpet with a straw-ecru field whose allover pattern of upright petal palmettes, tilted palmettes, petal rosettes. broad ogival vinery and attendant foliage all develops from a sing central rosette. Similar petal-boxed rosettes occur along the horizontal centre line. Petal palmettes and sectioned profile palmettes in the border. As new condition.
