Alexander's Collection rugs are a product of special quality. The brand is called a style icon. For the first time, the design of rugs and the quality of their workmanship were brought into the category of couture and the founder and chief designer was deservedly given the title of couturier. Previously, a utilitarian carpet has never reached such heights.
What is it about Alexander's Collection rugs that makes them special? Why does the brand stand over the industry and occupies one of the leading spots in the luxury industry?
First of all, it is primarily the design itself, breaking the stereotype concept of a rug, the unique way and know-how of the brand in developing designs and preparing them for production. To get rugs of this level of performance, all designs are drawn only by hand, so that the artist could breathe life into this kind of graphics and could create a highly realistic drawing. Then and only then it is possible to get such a level in production.
Secondly, the geography of consumers whom such designs are made for: from European minimalism to oriental luxury.
And finally, a distinctive quality standard, again a know-how of the brand. As any luxury product, it is first of all the quality of the materials. The best raw materials available on the market today are used: fine New Zealand merino wool, semi-worsted New Zealand wool and fine silk with a special impregnation that protects the raw materials from contamination. As a result, many types of stains may only be removed with warm water.
The surface polishing and the density of the pile give the effect of a velvet fabric. With its own quality standard and a pile height of 6 mm, the products take on a special luxury look and feel that places the brand apart from the carpet industry.
The rug in front of us is from a limited edition collection created in 2013.
The brand creates annual collections based on which customised orders may be made, allowing customers to adapt the design of the rug to the individuality of their interiors. Almost everything is changeable: composition, shape, colours, the materials. Wool and silk could be blended to give a shining effect to certain elements.
Custom-made orders exclude almost all errors in production. Customers may order samples to be made before submitting an individual order.
Samples
It takes approximately 4 weeks to manufacture samples. This is a service for a fee. It is calculated based on the cost per square metre of a prototype carpet on the website. Delivery is paid separately.
In future, when you place an order for the production of the rug, the cost of samples is included in the price of the main order. Usually, the sufficient size of the sample does not exceed 50 x 50 cm. At the same time, you may select any fragment of the design to make the sample.
