About the Item
This is an exquisite gilded and carved pair of armchairs. The front and side parts are carved with scrolls that create a delicate carving effects. This pair hails from Mid- 18th Century, Venezia, Italy. These armchairs are the result of the high level of craftsmanship of the master Venetian cabinetmakers achieved at the time of the maximum splendor of Venice, its Golden Age. Their carefully considered proportions, refined carvings, and premium materials culminate in a design that expresses sophistication and grace.
These pieces are coming out from the property of noble Marcello family in Venezia

The pieces are in very good state of maintenance and they are guaranteed original in every parts. The surface was only cleaned not restored and it is original.
This pair of giltwood armchairs has the Certificate of Authenticity. The documents will be shown on demand in case of interest.
