Large elegant pair of 18th Century French Louis XV Needlepoint Carved Fauteuil Armchairs. These chairs capture the charm and refinement of the Louis XV era and feature hand-carved wooden frames and richly detailed needlepoint upholstery on the back, arms, and seat. The tapestry depicts floral motifs in rich colors of blue, red, yellow and green on a cream background. Armchairs rest on cabriole legs.
