About the Item

A matching pair of French fauteuils with carved wood frames finished in a pale painted surface. The frames show continuous ornament along the crest rails, shaped backs, arms, seat rails, and knees, with gently scrolled open arms resting on carved supports. The cabriole legs retain carved detailing and terminate in shaped feet. Both chairs are upholstered in a neutral woven fabric with a subtle grid pattern that follows the contours of the frames.
