About the Item

A pair of open arm swedish chairs from the early 1900s that have been hand scraped and still retain some traces of the original paint. In an earlier c19th style the backs have an open fan shaped detail and the good size seats have been upholstered in a light tea coloured vintage french linen. There is understated carved flower detail on the front frieze over tapered legs. A nice useful pair that would work well as side chairs or at a table.
