About the Item

Here is a spectacular solid walnut Queen Anne-style dining or accent chair from the 1930s. It is in MINT condition, and well-weighted with excellent build quality. Like new! The chair has graceful, elegant proportions overall. The seat cushion is hand-done needlepoint in 100% Aubergine-colored wool with unique embroidered flowers and secured to the frame with antique brass nail heads. The cushion is in mint condition. The solid walnut chair-frame is a beautifully rich color with a lustrous satin patina and attention to detail that you don't often find. Made in America in the 1930s, which represents a period of excellent craftsmanship in furniture, it is in perfect structural condition.
