About the Item
An early 20th century, traditional folk-art tub chair from Scandinavia, known as a ‘kubbstol’. Of good proportions and carved from patinated pine timber - the backrest and rear are formed from a hollowed out trunk, with the rest of the chair planked in construction. Dated to the base. Swedish, 1935.
