About the Item
1950’s Bentwood Debrecen Blonde Dining Armchairs – Pair.
It is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century three Hungarian based producers existed J&J Kohn, Mundus and Debrecen. These firms produced chairs in various factories throughout the Austro Hungarian empire. These chairs are an early model but with later production, probably 1950’s, these three are labelled Debrecen. Beautiful surviving and fascinating chairs. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced and sensitively restored, we only sell vintage of excellent quality.

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
