1950’s Jaroslav Šmídek Original Armchairs In A Rust Boucle Fabric. Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of Šmídek’s most elegant designs. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the fabrics and upholstery are in as good as condition as we can find. The frame is beech throughout and the arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original character. This model has the rare and higher sit sprung seat. The upholstery is completely original and has been deep steam cleaned by our workshop team. Seat Height: 44cm

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
