About the Item

Vintage 1970s adjustable-height chair crafted in Czechoslovakia. Made of solid beech, the chair includes a sculptural tripod-style base and a threaded central mechanism enabling the seat to rise from 43 cm (16.9 in) to 61 cm (24 in). Recently cleaned and treated with organic oil to preserve the warm natural tone of the wood. A versatile and functional piece of mid-century European furniture suitable for desks, studios or decorative interiors.
